Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCUS) where we offer flexible, reliable, collaborative, and cost-effective solutions across the CCUS value chain.
Low-carbon Hydrogen are developing innovative cost-efficient technology for low-carbon hydrogen production.
Energy storage we are exploring development and deployment of innovative technology for long duration energy storage.

We have a very strong In Country Value program where we continue to develop local talent, support SMEs & LCC (Local Community Contractors), have made large investments in state of the art facilities and are very proud to have key “Made In Oman” products.

We continue to innovate in the Oil and gas sector, deploying technologies and solutions that will push the frontiers of performance further, improving efficiency, and lowering carbon intensity, supporting Oman’s commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and a more sustainable future for Oman.

Additionally, we active partners on Oman’s energy transition journey, one example is SLB’s collaboration with Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the Oman Investment Authority in building a national strategy to develop the potential of Oman’s geothermal resources. This collaboration is in line with Oman’s efforts to decarbonize the energy sector, achieve its 2050 Net Zero goal, and implement Oman Vision 2040.

During OPES we will be showcasing technologies and solutions to support our customers meet their energy demands while decarbonizing and reducing emissions. Some of the solutions will be focused on Production Enhancement, Digital drilling & production solutions including the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), intelligent formation testing, technologies for Fast, high-quality data for accurate geosteering and formation evaluation and emissions monitoring technologies.

SLB acquired the 1st wireline log in Oman on Exploration Well Dauka-1 in Dec-1955, and since then we have been a proud partner of the Oman energy industry, supporting In Country Value through talent development, large investment in new facilities and introducing “Made In Oman” products. Like Oman, SLB is evolving to meet the new challenges and responsibilities that we have towards decarbonizing our industry, reducing Green House Gas emissions & meeting Net Zero targets. We have been active participants in OPES and we are very happy once again to be part of the 2024, during which we will showcase many of solutions needed to address the challenges that the energy industry is facing.
